REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Experience Required: 2 yearsUnit Accepts Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st time TravelerRequired Skill: Will need to have experience with intermediate level cardiac patients, post cardiac intervention, titration of cardiac gtts.Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:4-5 (could fluctuate based on unit needs/surges); Avg. Daily Census: 16Any of our units have the potential to receive COVID-19 patients and every team member is expected to take care of COVID-19 patients as needed.Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!36 Hours Can be OfferSHIFT: 12 Hour NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15***7 DAYS Max for Aya Auto Offer***Float Required: Yes - to our other MSU units.Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.
Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: STEMI, CHF, ACS, cardiac dysrhythmias, post-hip/knee replacements.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Primarily higher level cardiac patients. Post catheterizations, cardiac interventions. Cardiac gtts including but not limited to Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Amiodarone, Lasix, including some titration of medications. Initiation of Betapace and Tikosyn. May also have orthopedic patients post-operatively or med-surg overflow at times. Telemetry.
Medication System: PyxisDocumentation system: EPICCommunication: SBAR
Orientation Details: 24 hours
Scrubs: Any combination of navy and white.
