Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS/Telemetry 3rd FloorShift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs/week, EOW, Holiday rotation with core staffLength: 13 WeeksRequirements:
IL license1 year of experience- surgical experience requiredMust have total joint experienceMust have Understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis managementExperience with TPN/ Lipids. Narcotic usageBLS, NIHSSOther Details:Float to like units only. If floated to higher acuity it would be to work as a help all and not take a patient load.Charting System: Allscripts - SunriseAccepts LOCALNurse:Patient Ratios 1:4-6 Nights 1:5-6Common diagnosis / Types of patients Neuro- laminectomy, cervical fusion, LESI, belly surgery-ostomies, hernia repair, joint replacement-total hips/knees. PICC, TPN, Lipids. Fem pop bypass, dialysis catheter insertions, BKA, AKA. DM (dialysis is also located on the 3rd floor) PCA, some epidurals, iv abx, chronic pain (narcotics), sepsis, urgent OR cases.Epic Travel Staffing:
