QualSights is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Director with a passion for the Consumer Insights industry, particularly with CPG companies. Reporting to our Head of Sales, this role will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and supporting the expansion of existing accounts. The Sales Director will play a key role in driving revenue growth by providing consultative sales expertise, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored solutions that leverage QualSights’ cutting-edge insights technology. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, understanding their challenges, and positioning themselves as a trusted advisor.Responsibilities:
· Identify and close new business opportunities with both new and existing clients, focusing on mid and large enterprise CPG accounts.· Proactively prospect and develop relationships with potential clients, deepening engagement and building a strong pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.· Utilize consultative sales approaches to understand client needs and challenges, positioning QualSights as a key partner in delivering actionable insights.· Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to proposal development and closing, ensuring clear communication and alignment with clients at every stage.· Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals that address client-specific needs, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.· Conduct thorough research on target accounts to understand their business, KPIs, and market challenges, and position relevant solutions that align with their goals.· Provide regular sales forecasts and maintain sufficient pipeline coverage to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.· Participate in cross-functional collaboration, working with account managers, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver best-in-class service to clients.· Deliver engaging and tailored presentations to senior-level decision-makers that showcase QualSights’ unique value and capabilities.· Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging challenges within the Consumer Insights and CPG space to drive innovative sales strategies.What We’re Looking For:
· Deep knowledge of the Consumer Insights and Marketing Research industry, with specific experience working with CPG companies.· Consultative sales experience: 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven ability to lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.· Sales strategy expertise: Skilled at researching target accounts, developing prospecting campaigns, and understanding business challenges to position the right solutions.· Pipeline management: Consistently meet or exceed activity and sales targets to build a robust pipeline and deliver on quota goals.· Executive-level relationship building: Demonstrated experience presenting and selling to senior decision-makers, becoming a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and goals.· Proposal development: Expertise in crafting proposals and bids that solve identified client needs and clearly articulate the value of partnering with QualSights.· Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with internal teams to drive momentum on deals and exceed client expectations.· Passion for growth: A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.· Strong communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.· Educational background: A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.Position Type:
