culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement.Position DescriptionOur Sr. Staff Engineer works with our Staff Engineers and Sr. Engineers to innovate and build new systems,
improve
and enhance existing systems.

of delivering products and unlock new engineering capabilities

.Position ResponsibilitiesAs a
Sr. Staff Engineer

with managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve
our toughest
problems
Develop and execute technical software development strategy
for our database platform services
Utilize Python
and
Golang

very familiar
with
relational and non-relational databases. For this role, expert knowledge of Cassandra is requ

Have
a
d
eep u
nderstand
ing of
container
orchestration
including Docker and
Kubernetes
and have
experience implementing database workloads in containers.

Annual Salary$130,000.00 - $260,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.GEICO will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.
