ADB is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development to develop solutions for customers and partners with accurate pricing, documentation, and product selection for our government contracts regarding our Technology division. This position will consult with customers and partners to identify, develop, and win opportunities. The Senior Director is a primary customer-facing position that promotes the organization to achieve defined sales goals and focuses on customer retention. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactively identify and engage with key contacts in new and existing accounts to maximize the organization's sales performanceResearch and identify new markets and vertical opportunitiesPossess a strong understanding of Wireline, Engineering, Technology, Wireless disciplines, and the functionality to effectively communicate proposal details and answer client questionsEngage subject matter experts for more detailed or high-visibility proposals and customer meetingsUpdate opportunities and related account information in the organization's chosen CRM system as close to real-time as possibleLead presentations, workshops, and consulting sessions with customers and partnersProduce documentation including customer/client needs analysis, site-specific surveys, and all artifacts necessary to clearly document customer expectations and intended implementation designs and approaches, facilitating a seamless transition from sales to the implementation teamsSet written expectations with customers that are aligned with the organization's leadership and implementation teams, that support their defined goals for project marginRepresent the partner's expectations and priorities to the organization and continue engagement through the life of the project as neededMaintain a modern and ongoing understanding of solutions, features, products, and industry developmentsWork closely with the organization's marketing and social media development teams to produce promotional content for a variety of mediumsRepresent the organization in the best possible light, maintaining optimism and championing successful outcomes for the organization and its partnersConsistently achieve defined performance goals as measured on the yearly division scorecardMentor less experienced sales members on the team and provide guidance when neededManage the team for short periods of time if needed or called uponPerform other tasks as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates out of corporate headquarters in an office environment, located at 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO 63069This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, projectors, copy/fax, and smartphonesMust be willing to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, and drivingMay be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinatedWhen working on site, will be required to wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and life jackets

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

10+ years of business development experience with large Fortune 500 companies is requiredProven track record with large accounts and has contacts with decision-makers at the C-Suite levelBachelor's Degree in related field is requiredHigh School diploma or equivalent required
