Patient Types:Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and traumaDiagnoses include: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma – heavy trauma populationCardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR – 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelersWill not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this – given to permanent staff
Patient Ratios:RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) – acuity dependentRequired Certifications:BLSACLSNIHSSTNCC (REQUIRED) – please decline travelers that would not be willing to obtain this certification prior to arrivalAbout Tekaccel, Inc.
