In addition to its audio entertainment businesses, SiriusXM offers connected vehicle services to automakers.How you'll make an impact:You will be an Unscripted Podcast Producer staffed on SiriusXM podcasts including but not limited to Team Coco's network of podcasts. In this role, you'll use your professional podcast experience to produce entertaining podcasts that embody Team Coco's spirit of "smart and silly." You will also collaborate with other key stakeholders including marketing, ad sales, and publicity to generate excitement among listeners and reach new audiences.What You'll Do:Manage host relationship and loop in other team members when necessaryWork closely with booking team to select and coordinate guestsCoordinate, prep and run recording sessionsCollaborate with engineers and Executive Producer to build out, manage, and adhere to production schedules. The producer is responsible for maintaining and updating the schedules.Turn around edits in a timely manner and incorporate edit notesReview edits of full-length video episodesWork with video and social media team to identify compelling moments and pull clipsWrite scripts for wraparounds, promos, and ad salesWrite and submit show copyWork closely with our PR, marketing, and programming teams to ensure the successful promotion of the showBrainstorm ways to enhance content and promotion of showsWork closely with engineers to adhere to recording specifications and organizationManage ads, working with partnerships/revenue and ad sales to ensure that they are received and delivered within the necessary timelineCut ads and promosWork closely with the engineer to ensure that the content and quality of audio matches Team Coco's expectations and specs (this applies if producer is doing the mixing themselves)Work with engineers to manage file organization and deliveriesWork with Executive Producer to develop new showsWhat You'll Need:To live in the Los Angeles, CA areaBachelor's degree preferred2-3 years of experience producing podcasts in a professional settingExcellent creative writing and communication skillsStrong interest in comedy, pop culture, and current events as related to assignedExperience working with talent, artists and high profile individuals preferredExcellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.3-5 years experience audio editing (dialogue) in Pro ToolsProficiency in: Pro Tools, Google Suite, Dropbox, Microsoft OfficeMust have legal right to work in the U.S.At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the salary for this position to be in the range of $60,000 to $91,900 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
