Job Title: MES Software Engineer II
Location: Perrysburg, OH 43551 (Hybrid)
Duration: Fulltime
Need:
Minimum 8 years of experience is required.
Required Skills:
1. C#.NET (business logic layer)
2. SQL Server including SSIS
3. Azure DevOps
4. Data Structures
5. Ability to communicate collaborate
Required Skills/Competencies:Troubleshooting and programming software solutions based on multi-tiered architecture using C#, XAML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, T-SQL, and MSMQ.Designing data structures, and using/configuring SQL Server databases.Experience with AngularJS and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is preferred.Experience in developing, deploying, and supporting Windows mobile applications preferred.Proven experience with software development life cycle, Agile teams, change management process, and version control packages.Object oriented languages.Proven ability and knowledge of computer technology.Excellent communication and organization skills.Logical troubleshooting.Proven interpersonal skills.Global experience providing tier three support in a manufacturing environment preferred.Primary Responsibilities:
Develops new software systems and modifies existing ones for First Solar's manufacturing, reliability, and R&D processes.Integrates shop floor systems with custom-developed and off-the-shelf solutions.Is responsible for hyper care and expert-level support on global applications for manufacturing, database, and related systems.Assists administrators (server admins, network admins, DB admins) in troubleshooting enterprise-level problems.Documents recurring issues and presents possible solutions.Interfaces with other departments and supplier representatives.Exercises effective communications levels and fosters team building.Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
