Illinois CancerCare (ILCC) is looking to hire up to two (2) full-time hematologist/oncologists to join the Fox River Cancer Center in Ottawa and the Valley Regional Cancer Center in Peru. Located off the I-80 corridor, these sites provide easy access to the south Chicago suburbs including highly desirable Naperville and Aurora. Both practice locations offer physicians the flexibility of a 4-day work week where they will see the full breadth of care and enjoy a "career versus a job" in an autonomous environment. These physicians will join 6 other hematologist/oncologists that split time between the main campus in Peoria and the I-80 corridor practice sites. Illinois CancerCare (ILCC) is the newest member of The US Oncology Network, the largest network of community-based cancer centers in the United States.

Illinois CancerCare is:The largest physician-owned private hematology/oncology group practice in Illinois, with 21 practicing physicians, 37 advanced practice providers, and 100 nurses, serving patients at 14 locations throughout central IL since 1978.With strong hospital affiliations and holding leadership roles in local hospital administrations.Offers comprehensive services including hematology care, on-site chemotherapy infusion suites, clinical trials, diagnostic imaging (X-ray/CT/PET), specialty lab, pharmacy, social worker, dietitian, and financial counseling at multiple sites.Specialty clinics including Palliative Care, Survivorship, and Oncology Smart Care.A long history of clinical research, holding one of the original NCI CCOP grants for 30 years, and is one of 34 community sites in the nation with a NCI NCORP grant. Patients are actively enrolled on cooperative group and pharmaceutical industry research protocols.

We are looking for:

BC/BE hematologist/oncologists with strong leadership and communication skills. Must have the drive and commitment to provide high-quality patient care and participation in the improvement of care delivery system and practice management.

Full-time partnership track available.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. H-1B and J-1 candidates will be considered. Note, ILCC is not a cap-exempt employer.
