nurse extern working as a tech.

Scheduling requirements:

Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend

shifts per schedule.

Schedule is done

in 4 week increments.

Self-scheduling

to an extent.

Manager will move shifts

to balance out schedule.

Floating policy:

Contract labor is first to float.

If the staffing need is in med/surg,

contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment.

Patient Experience requirements:

Expected to provide attentive and

compassionate care to patients/family members.

Active RN license.

ICU experience.

Advanced skills needed:

Trauma experience preferred.

Procedures performed on unit:

Insertion of central lines, arterial lines,

lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions.

Certifications Required:

ACLS.

BLS.

Dress Code
