Summary:

As part of a mission-centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization, this role is accountable for providing overall leadership for the Central Territory Celebration Initiatives, with a key focus on Visionaries of the Year, through strategic planning and direction to assigned markets ensuring national campaign standards are followed and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives achieve revenue goals for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) mission. Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.

Duties and Responsibilities:Mission IntegrationPartner with Education Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the LLS overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.Equip assigned markets to deliver mission-centered, high-impact activities.

Strategic PlanningActively and thoroughly examine comprehensive revenue and leadership trends for opportunities and threats to ensure sustained year-over-year revenue growth and to shape overall campaign strategy.On-going, highly comprehensive and innovative strategic planning for campaign fundraising events in the territory to ensure region revenue goals are achieved.Lead campaign standard revenue stream strategy and develop tools with the Senior Director and VP of Campaign Development - Celebration Initiatives for turn-key region execution.

Staff Leadership & DevelopmentPartner with Regional Leadership to coach, model, and train fundraising staff in assigned territory on initiative best practices and strategies.Collaborate with region and territory leadership to evaluate staff performance and hire talented high-impact revenue teams.

Innovation in High Impact FundraisingIdentify revenue expansion opportunities to grow volunteer and corporate relationships throughout LLS.Identify areas for breakout revenue growth.Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote organizational initiatives.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree.6-8 years' relatable experience.Demonstrated track record of success.Ability to work with a variety of leadership styles.Ability to think both broadly and get into details.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.Work environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.Travel 50-70%.Individuals should reside in their assigned Territory, or within a reasonable commuting distance.Average salary range is $90,000 to $131,000, open to further discussion based on geography.Required to work some evenings or weekends.
