The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) is in search of a Digital Marketing Associate to join its dynamic Marketing Team. The Digital Marketing Associate is primarily responsible for assisting with email set-up and deployment, as well as website text and content updates, to support AIFS' strategic plan. This position plays a key role in reaching and educating AIFS' U.S.-facing audiences for its various lines of business.The Digital Marketing Associate will work closely with staff from each division/company within AIFS and reports to the Director of Marketing.Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Associate to join the AIFS team in Stamford, CT. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with impeccable attention to detail who is highly organized, has strong digital marketing skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can successfully multi-task. The primary focus of this role will be to create, edit, and schedule emails, as well as update copy and content across websites, landing pages, and blogs.Duties include:
Creating, editing, and deploying emails in HubSpotUpdating text and content on WordPress websites, landing pages, and blogsMaintaining and adhering to an email and content calendarExecuting assigned SEO optimization deliverables including updating meta descriptions, title tags, alt tags, and moreReviewing and editing existing or provided copy for spelling, grammar, tone, and accuracyResearching competitors and staying on top of email marketing trendsCoordinating and following up with others to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and precise mannerAssisting with writing and editing copy for multiple mediums including emails, landing pages, website, and blogs as neededBrainstorming creative ideas and contributing to a collaborative team cultureParticipating in special projects and performing other duties as assignedQualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's DegreeHands-on experience with WordPress (or comparable) CMSExperience with HubSpot email marketing preferableFamiliarity with SEO optimized contentExcellent organizational skillsImpeccable attention to detailAbility to multi-task and handle multiple assignments, prioritize, and meet deadlinesExcellent written communication skills6+ months of experience editing or writing content for emails, websites, social media posts, and/or blogsWorks well independently and with a teamFlexible and adaptable to a changing environmentCompetencies & Aptitudes:
Exceptional attention to detail, organized, creative drive, strong communication skills, and high standards of excellenceCritical thinking, technical knowledge, learning agility, strategic thinking, multitasking, time managementAbility to complete work in a timely manner and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, fun environmentAbility to handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and pivot to time-sensitive tasks as neededWork Environment
This job operates in a hybrid environment. AIFS offers a 35-hour work week during the business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate is expected to be in the Stamford, Connecticut office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.Salary:
