The ideal candidate will have a strong background in privacy litigation and data privacy laws, with the ability to provide clients with practical advice and manage complex legal matters. This position offers significant client interaction and work on sophisticated cases, making it ideal for a talented attorney who excels in problem-solving, legal research, and writing. Manage all aspects of litigation, including case work-up, discovery, pretrial motions, and trial preparation.Draft legal documents such as briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.Provide practical and strategic advice to clients regarding privacy laws, incident response, and data protection.Handle privacy litigation, data privacy compliance, and incident response for a variety of clients.Stay current with and apply federal, state, and international privacy laws to legal matters.Conduct legal research and analysis on issues related to privacy, data protection, and incident response.Interact directly with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide expert legal guidance.Work collaboratively with the firm's attorneys and staff on complex legal issues and sophisticated cases.Contribute to trial preparation and represent clients in litigation matters as needed.Requirements:

Significant litigation experience, particularly in privacy litigation or a related field.Proven ability to manage all elements of case work-up, discovery, and trial preparation independently.Strong legal research and writing skills, including experience drafting briefs, complaints, and motions.Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations at the federal, state, and international levels.Ability to offer practical, strategic, and business-oriented advice to clients.Immediate ability to engage with clients and work on high-level, complex legal matters.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in North Carolina or eligibility for admission.Excellent academic credentials and a proven record of success in legal practice.Preferred Experience:

Experience in privacy litigation or data privacy-related matters is highly preferred.Previous experience in a law firm or similar professional environment.Familiarity with incident response, data breach laws, and regulatory compliance in the privacy sector.Skills:

Strong research and analytical skills.Superior writing and communication abilities.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently when required.
