Location: Louisville, KentuckyPosition Type: Full-TimePay Range: USD $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 / YearThe Workforce Forecasting & Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring strategic goals are met through forecast modeling, capacity planning, collaboration, and effective communication, while ensuring forecast alignment with strategic goals. This position is responsible for long term, short term and intraday script volume, productivity and capacity forecasts and providing leadership with risk mitigation plans. This position will act as a support tool for the leaders of Pharmacy Operations and HR Team, assisting with and providing guidance on performance impact analysis and operational planning. In addition, budget preparation/input and reporting assignments are an expectation of this position.Responsibilities
Assist in collecting and analyzing workforce data from multiple sources.Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to track key workforce metrics.Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns in workforce data.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workforce planning initiatives.Generate insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve workforce effectiveness.Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and contribute to decision-making processes.Provide analysis and recommendations to improve staffing levels and efficiency.Research and analyze diversified data to draw valid conclusions and evaluate new methods for operational improvement.Study department work, vacation, and absence records for historical trend analysis and offer recommendations for forecasting purposes.Work with site leaders to ensure adequate staff, contingency plans, and workflow monitoring.Maintain and analyze records of actual volumes compared to forecast.Maintain staffing and headcount records and develop hiring plans for long/short range planning.Accurately track actual script volume output for productivity analysis and resource forecasting.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications
Minimum five years' experience forecasting required, preferably in a healthcare environment.Minimum three years of experience in advanced trend analysis and ability to interpret data to provide recommendations.2+ years of experience utilizing forecasting tools such as IEX TotalView, EWFM, or Blue Pumpkin.Forecasting/advanced analytical role within a large volume, fast-paced environment or Captive finance strongly preferred.Ability to create and manipulate data modeling and relational database structures for Workforce Management forecasting.Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.Proficiency in data analysis tools (i.e., Excel, SQL, SAS, Informix, Cognos).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.About PharMerica: PharMerica is a full-service pharmacy solution providing value beyond medication.
