RF Test and Development Engineer or Principal RF Test and Development Engineer . This career opportunity is a great fit for self-motivated, proactive individuals who want to assume ownership of the performance and delivery of Northrop Grumman's diverse suite of RF and digital product hardware.What You'll Get to Do:Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipmentTroubleshoot and support RF and digital hardwareSupport First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and hardware deliveriesAnalyze test data and identify early trendsCompile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirementsCollaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutionsSupport technicians through troubleshooting and trainingMonitor product yields and aggressively work to maintain program yield targetsSupport program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actionsAttend program meetings to report yield issues, yield detractor investigation findings, and corrective actionsInterface with manufacturing management, test technicians, production engineers, design engineers, system engineers, program management and program support teamsBasic Qualifications for a Principal RF Test and Development Engineer:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 9 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 7 years of relevant experience.Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics and block diagramsExperience with RF hardware and softwareExperience with RF test equipment, such as scopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generatorProficiency in RF, RF test equipment, RF theory and concepts.Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardwareU.S. citizenshipActive Department of Defense (DoD) interim secret level clearance or higherPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM disciplineAbility to work with minimal direction and guidanceExperience with FPGAExperience with LabWindows CVI, C / C++ programmingTestStand programmingProficiency with digital, analog.Familiarity with differential digital interfaces like LVDSPXI/PXIe and VME bus experienceSalary Range:
