Signal is seeking a communications manager with razor-sharp communications skills, an inherent sense of curiosity, and a bold, creative mind to serve our public relations and public affairs work across our energy, healthcare, and sustainability clients.
What You'll Do:
Lead regular interaction with journalists in a variety of U.S. and international marketsConduct routine senior-level client contactExcel at research and writingManage development and production of materials to support campaigns across all channelsTrack project progress and deadlines
The Model Candidate:
You are a bright, engaging self-starter who thrives on collaborating with othersYou’re not waiting for direction, but rather seeking for solutions before being asked or promptedCan flawlessly execute the day-to-day work while seeking out opportunities to contribute and grow professionallyHave an impeccable understanding of AP style, are detail-oriented, diligent with each task and can work on multiple initiatives under strict deadlines
Qualifications:
An impeccable writer and editor, able to translate complex topics into multiple formatsUse research to form insights for client programs and growth opportunitiesAre technology savvy with an understanding of social media, the Microsoft suite and additional tools for the field such as Muck Rack, Sprout Social, Google Analytics and TV EyesExperience with pitching and reporter engagementHave 4+ years of PR agency, in-house, or government communications experienceEven if you don’t check every box, please still apply

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000
