As the VP of Advertising Sales at Demandbase, you will lead and grow our advertising sales division, driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and innovative advertising solutions. This senior leadership role involves developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for our advertising products, working closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to exceed sales targets. You will be responsible for scaling our sales efforts, mentoring a high-performing ad sales team, and building relationships with key clients and partners across the industry.The base compensation range for this position, not including variable/commission, is: $200,000 - $275,000What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for advertising productsLeading, mentoring, and scaling a team of account executivesBuilding and nurturing relationships with key customers, partners, and agencies to drive sales growthCollaborating with product and marketing teams to refine product offerings and create compelling go-to-market strategiesAnalyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to continuously optimize sales tacticsReporting on sales performance and providing actionable insights to the executive teamNegotiating high-value deals with enterprise clients and ensuring long-term partnership successRepresenting Demandbase at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen brand presence and awarenessWhat we're looking for

15+ years of sales experience, with a deep experience in advertising and/or media sales8+ years in a leadership role, managing high-performance sales teamsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the advertising or digital media spaceStrong relationships with major brands, media buyers, and agenciesExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teamsStrategic mindset with the ability to think long-term while executing tactical plansOur benefits include options for up to 100% paid Medical and Vision premiums for employees, a flexible PTO policy, no internal meetings Fridays, as well as access to Modern Health and other mental wellness resources.
