Job Summary:
The Store Lead will be responsible for supporting the Store Leadership Team by completing cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD).
The Store Lead will represent the brand, operate in a professional manner, engage customers, maintain store standards, and support teamwork and employee development.Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:Assist in developing talent through the training of associates, including giving in-the-moment coaching conversationsPartners with Store Manager to address an performance concerns with associatesSupport and participate in all company training and development initiativesFoster a positive work environment and provides direct, objective feedback in a timely mannerAssess performance and provide the appropriate level of feedback on a daily basis and during the annual performance review processMotivate and inspire the associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment for both internal and external customersModel, encourage, and demonstrate exceptional customer service behaviors while on the sales floor and maintain high standards throughout the store while ensuring the integrity of the brandRepresent the company in a professional and positive mannerSupport the management team to maximize productivity through operational and product knowledge, customer service and participating in an completing key store initiativesParticipate in the Leader on Duty (LOD) program by providing an exceptional customer shopping experience, and driving store profitability while leveraging payrollProcess payroll weeklyModify schedule based on business climateHelp maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom, adhering to set policiesEnsure Environment (CRE) Standards & Safety requirements are being metEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent1-3 years previous retail experienceMust be at least 18 years of agSkills and Behaviors:Excellent customer engagementMust be detail orientedAbility to prioritize tasksAbility to work in team environmentAbility to give and receive performance-based feedbackMust embrace self-developmentMust be an effective communicatorMust be adaptable and flexible to changing prioritiesExcellent time management, planning, and organization skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to adapt to and learn internal applicationsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to meet business needs and the PT/FT Availability Requirements set by the CompanyAbility to maneuver on sales floor and stockroom; climb ladder, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
