Together, we elevate businesses and redefine what’s possible in digital marketing.The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing search engine optimization strategies to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings. This role addresses challenges related to on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, and performance tracking, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Please note candidates must be located in a time zone within 6 hours of Hawaii Standard Time to be considered for the role.Responsibilities:Scope 1 - On-Page Optimization and Technical SEO:Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-potential keywords, search trends, and content opportunities for SEO campaigns.Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure to improve on-page SEO factors and search engine rankings.Perform technical SEO audits, identify website issues (e.g., crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content), and implement technical fixes to enhance site performance and user experience.Collaborate with web development teams to implement SEO best practices, schema markup, structured data, and mobile optimization techniques for improved search visibility.Monitor search engine algorithms, industry trends, and SEO tools to stay updated and implement effective SEO strategies.Scope 2 - Performance Analysis and Reporting:Track, analyze, and report on key SEO performance metrics (e.g., organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlink profile) using SEO tools and analytics platforms.Generate SEO performance reports, dashboards, and insights to identify opportunities, trends, and areas for optimization.Conduct competitor analysis, benchmarking studies, and market research to inform SEO strategies and tactics.Collaborate with content creators, designers, and digital marketers to align SEO efforts with overall marketing goals and initiatives.Provide SEO recommendations, guidance, and training to internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to improve SEO understanding and implementation.Software Utilized:SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs)Keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest)Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console)Content management systems (CMS) and web development tools (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)Project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Candidate must be located in a time zone within 6 hours of Hawaii Standard Time.Minimum 2-4 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on on-page optimization, technical SEO, and performance analysis.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.Proficiency in SEO tools, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques to improve search rankings and organic traffic.Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and industry trends.Experience with technical SEO audits, website optimization, and web development principles.Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven SEO decisions.Familiarity with CMS platforms, web analytics, and project management tools.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Experience with Specific Systems:Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs), keyword research tools, analytics platforms, CMS systems, and project management tools.Characteristics and/or Personality Traits Necessary in the Role:Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, results-driven SEO strategies and tactics.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Continuous learning mindset with a passion for staying updated with SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to addressing SEO challenges and opportunities.Compensation and Role Type:Full-Time position (Employee - W2), Fully RemoteAnnual Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 (based on experience)Performance Bonus Opportunity (up to $10,000 per year)Benefits:Insurance:Health Insurance - (Medical, Dental, Vision) 100% Employer Paid for Employee; Dependents may be added at Employee’s expense.Paid Time Off:Unlimited PTOBereavement LeaveParental Leave (protected, unpaid)
