About the Role:
Are you seeking a fulfilling career in employee benefits where you can make a positive impact while leading and mentoring a team? Our Regional Sales Manager - Team Leader role offers a unique opportunity to shape a safer future by championing Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions. In this role, you'll actively lead and empower your team as they prospect, negotiate, and successfully onboard new employer clients and benefit brokers. Your leadership will provide the guidance and support necessary for your team to excel, unlocking their full potential while driving growth and success for the company. As a key liaison to the broker community, you'll demonstrate the indispensable value of our solutions in today's landscape. You'll help your team navigate the evolving dynamics between healthcare-focused brokers and voluntary benefit brokers, identifying promising prospects and fostering seamless partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Development: Manage, mentor, and inspire a regional sales team, ensuring they achieve their goals and continuously develop their sales capabilities.Sales Strategy: Work with your team to identify, pursue, and qualify targeted broker and agency opportunities from prospecting through to contract signing.Client and Broker Education: Support your team in educating brokers and clients about Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions, emphasizing the value propositions, services, and tailored solutions that meet their business needs.Consultative Selling: Take a consultative approach with your team and brokers, assessing their needs, tailoring program designs, and ensuring smooth implementation for both brokers and their clients.Operational Excellence: Lead your team in understanding efficient enrollment processes, revenue requirements, and contract management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Broker Engagement: Help your team foster relationships with brokers through regular events, informational webinars, and ongoing communication, ensuring Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions remain 'top of mind.'Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with departments like Norton Executive Benefits, Sales Enablement, Partner Account Managers, Legal, and Finance to drive member growth, improve retention, and ensure seamless support for your team.Industry Expertise: Stay current on industry trends and help your team apply this knowledge to enhance Norton LifeLock's position in the market.Key Qualifications:
Proven experience in Employee Benefit sales or service with a deep understanding of the employee benefits landscape.Strong track record in both developing new relationships and nurturing existing ones, particularly with Employee Benefit Brokers and Consultants.Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.Proficient in analyzing benefit industry trends, with a focus on Identity Theft Protection and other emerging trends.Ability to strategically manage activity and pipeline forecasting, while identifying opportunities for your team.High service acumen and creative problem-solving skills to assist both clients and your team in navigating challenges.Required Skills and Experience
At least 7-10 years' business development experience working with benefit brokers, agents, and consultants.Exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and confidence to present to C-level executives.Ability to work collaboratively with different internal stakeholders to deliver on client needs.Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).Ability to travel 50-60% of the time.
