Job Description & Requirements Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono) StartDate: 9/30/2024 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1721.74 - $1983.75 Ultrasound Tech needed asap DAY SHIFT - 5x8's 7:30a - 4p M-F On Call - Rotate every 3rd Sunday. Usually 2 nights during the week possibly 3. (flexibility needed as departmental needs may need more) Proficient in all general, breast, and vascular studies. Requirements: ARDMS & BLS. 2 years experience The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
