UNIT DETAILS• Avg. Daily Census: 2-4• Rooms/Beds: 8/8• Pt. Population: Neonates - Adolescents• Shift: 3x12 Nights• Float Required: Yes - NICU, Peds• Call Required: ON scheduled days if not needed, may float as extra hands or care of like patients• Unit Systems: Pyxis, Cerner• Scrubs: No color requirementCERTIFICATIONS• Required: BCLS, PALS, PCAREXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREDRequired:• Minimum 1 yrs. Experience Required, 2 yrs. Preferred - Accepts 1st Time Travelers• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of Dysrhythmias• Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols• GI: GI Surgery• Neurological/Psychiatric: EVD, ICP monitoring, Spinal cord injury, TBIIV Therapy/Phlebotomy:• Accessing Ports• Arterial line management• Blood Product Administration• Central line care/management• PICC line management• Starting IVsMedications:• Continuous IV sedation• Procedural Sedation Administration• Titrate Cardiac drips• Titrate Vasoactive dripsRespiratory/Thoracic:• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal• Assist with management of BiPAP• Assist with management of CPAP• Care of Ventilated Patient• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)• Interpretation of ABGs• Suctioning (ETT, NT)• Ventilator ManagementCOVID Vaccination required.All RTO must be on initial submittal.
