Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per weekLength:
13 weeksWeekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Noc: Fri/Sat. Day: Sat/SunHoliday Requirements: Typically 2/3 holidays, includes eve/day of. Will be On-Call-as much as you like, not mandatory. Please note in interview notes traveler agrees to holiday requirements (will be assigned 2 out of 3, holidays within contract, holidays are considered the eve/day of)Is there a call or standby requirement: Low Census On Call
Requirements:
AZ RN or Compact license2 years experienceMust be able to do a vaginal exam (if come from teaching facility-they have less skill since medical students/residents do these). Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall 2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge. Preferred: experience with spinning babiesBLSNRPAWOHNN-Intermediate or AdvancedIntermediate Fetal MonitoringEPIC experience requiredExperience with spinning babies preferredOther Details:
RNs required to titrate drips: Magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, bloodFloating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment-downgraded, or RDU# of L&D Beds: 9# of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 2# of Triage beds: 7# of Births per day: Average 9/day, 250 a month, 3000 per yearRadius Rule: 100 milesScrub Color: Provided hospital scrubsEpic Travel Staffing:
