Description

The Director of Preconstruction - Top ENR NC GC - Raleigh will be responsible for the following:

• Analyze project requirements, including complex plans, specifications, and contract documents for large-scale construction projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project objectives, constraints, and technical requirements.
• Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for large-scale projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Lead the preparation of comprehensive construction proposals for large-scale projects, including detailed scopes of work, cost breakdowns, and project schedules.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with large-scale construction projects and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals specializing in large-scale construction to ensure competitive pricing, availability of resources, and adherence to quality standards.

Profile

The Director of Preconstruction - Top ENR NC GC - Raleigh will have the following experience:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field strongly preferred
• Hard Bid and negotiated estimating experience
• Experience with commercial Construction projects over $40M
• 10+ years of total, progressive estimating experience with a GC
• Applicable project management software knowledge
• People smarts and experience in a team-oriented environment

Job Offer

The Director of Preconstruction - Top ENR NC GC - Raleigh can expect:

• Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $150,000-$200,000 depending on experience
• Bonus based on individual and overall company performance
