Assistant Superintendent - NJ

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Construction Superintendent to help oversee all phases of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership and effective communication to coordinate teams and manage site operations.

This role is with a reputable general contractor local to the South Jersey area. With over 20 years in business, they are very well known for completing high quality projects in the commercial and mutlifamily space.

Description

Assist the Superintendent and Project Managers with:

• Managing day-to-day construction operations and ensure project milestones are met.
• Supervising subcontractors, tradespeople, and on-site personnel.
• Developing budgets, schedules, and timelines
• Communicating effectively with clients, architects, and engineers.

Profile

• 2-5 years of construction experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Comfortable working with a team
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
• OSHA 30 certification required
