WHO we're looking for:

We are looking for a (Certified Re-Newed) CRN Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the management of marketing and sales expenditure, establishing and determining policy guidelines, directing Sales Account Directors and Marketing Directors, performing the marketing program review, and resolving financial and accounting issues. You will also be responsible for detailed marketing expenditure tracking, open program management, budget and actual expense analysis, program aging report and other various in-depth analysis reporting to senior managers and directors. In addition, you will review and determine the reasonableness of marketing and sales expenditure forecast for each period, working closely with marketing and sales senior management.

You will be responsible for all financial transactions related to the marketing and sales programs, including accrual calculations, and financial closing as well as managing and reporting on ad hoc projects & requests.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Determine and make decisions on marketing and sales deduction investment activities, lead financing closing and reporting for the company, which include review of customer and vendor program agreements, and other internal and external reports.
  • Manage the progress of open marketing programs ensuring the progress amounts are within the guidelines of the original approved budget and coordinate with marketing managers to make appropriate budget and contract modifications within company guidelines.
  • Develop marketing program tracking method to assist management and marketing managers in providing financial status of the marketing expenditures.
  • Responsible for managerial and internal use reporting on marketing and sales deduction transactions.
  • Review reasonableness of marketing and sales deduction expense forecast and coordinate with marketing managers and vendors on the marketing expense plan and forecast.
  • Lead business owners and work closely with sales account and marketing teams to collect requirements, analyze information, and develop solutions consistent with business strategies.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc timely, accurate forecasts/reports on Sales (quantity, revenue, forecast), Production-Sales-Inventory (PSI), Sales Deductions (SD), Back Margin (BM), Market Development fund (MDF), Target Plan (TP), Management Plan (MP), el al.
  • Develop and execute marketing expense and sales deduction audits performing process and financial audits, documenting audit findings and implementing audit recommendations.
  • Manage marketing and sales deduction expense process improvement projects and initiatives through evaluation of current business processes and identification of improvement plan
  • Responsible for short and long range planning for business.
  • Direct and manage ad hoc projects/reports as assigned by management, leading cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrating strong leadership, presentation, and customer and vendor relationship management skills.

Required Experience and Education:

  • 5-10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate job related experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Prior experience in finance role is a plus.
  • Experience in managing financial accounting closing process and management of teams.
  • Experience in developing financial and operational analysis and presentation to management.
  • Experience in establishing policies and procedures and supporting marketing and sales departments.Demonstrated ability to identify areas of process improvement and managing improvement projects until completion.
  • Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits.
  • Supervisory or management level experience in a related role is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise with SAP or other financial systems or networking knowledge.

  • Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels, especially in the sales and marketing, and financial areas.
  • Demonstrated excellence in time management skills and follow up to ensure meeting on time deliverables.
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solving on time-sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency in Korean language is a plus.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
