Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality. As the Anti-fraud product manager, you will be responsible for building, improving, and monitoring business processes that detect and prevent fraudulent activities in various scenarios including but not limited to transactions, KYC, after-sales and seller-buyer-creator interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Design anti-fraud products and features to empower stakeholders to combat various risks including after-sales and malicious behaviors.
- Build consensus amongst stakeholders for the product strategy and drive the prioritization, scope and schedule of product development
- Develop business cases for new features/functionality by collaborating directly with our stakeholders and defining metrics of success for product features
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from market research, understanding our stakeholders' use cases, product requirements, priorities, execution to adoption
- Cooperate cross-functionally to build and enhance risk perception, identification, and design common risk control products and services that can support different businesses
- Research best practices of risk control products, risk scoring models and closely monitor regional trends
- Engage with various businesses, operations, tech, and security/risk stakeholders to solve risk problems at scale
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above with a background in Computer Science, Business Analytic, Math, Statistics, or related field;
2. At least 3+ years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Antifraud, Risk Management, Trust & Safety, Credit Scoring, Data Analysis, Data Science in eCommerce or Tech industry in general;
3. Proficiency in SQL is required; Fundamental understanding of statistic or algorithm is a plus;
4. Self-driven, curious to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment and willing to accept challenges and aim for the best
5. Quick understanding of new fraud motives and sensible diagnosis of key control points;
6. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions;
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively liaise with people at all levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in eCommerce or Tech industry is a plus
- Fundamental understanding of statistics or Machine Learning based algorithms is a plus
- Fundamental technical understanding is a plus
