Risk Manager

One of our top clients, a leading organization working and caring for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), is seeking a compassionate and experienced Risk Manager to join the team. The Risk Manager will be responsible for overall training assessment, development and implementation of all staff.

Responsibilities of the Risk Manager:

• Setting training vision and direction
• Develop needed programs and materials for training
• Work with administration to ensure all needed skills and competencies are in place
• Counsel managers and employees with training issues
• Assist in conducting new hire orientations

Qualifications of the Risk Manager:

• Degree in Human Services or Management field
• (Must) 1 year of supervisory experience and 2 years relevant work experience in field of Developmentally Disabled
• Extensive skills assessment experience
• Excellent verbal and business writing skills, articulate and organized
• Must be flexible to provide training at variable times
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Must be approved to work by the Iowa Department of Human Services
