We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with SUBACUTE experience to join our team!
SCHEDULE: FULL TIME ON A 4/2 SCHEDULE FOR AM AND NOC Shift ONLY
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements
Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA programMinimum one (1) year of Sub-Acute experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentFully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster(s)Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishGood physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodationCompassion towards residents and their families
Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities
Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurseSuch care includes assistance with the activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outingsOrganizational skills are required to keep the unit running smoothlyAnswer call lights to determine and meet resident needsUse proper body mechanics when necessaryPerform and document rounds of patients and report any changesProvide companionship and excellent care to patientsMaintain a clean and healthy environmentPrioritizes patient/resident activities based on current care needsProper lifting and transitioning residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, etc.Transporting residents to dining area for meals and activitiesBe punctual and professionalOther duties as assigned
Pay Scale:
Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
