Job Description:As a .Net Web Developer, you will work closely with the designated I.T. supervisor, project managers, and other developers in an agile development environment. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, designing applications, developing, testing, deploying, and providing technical support. You will support legacy applications and work on new development projects using technologies such as .NET, C#, Java, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, and SQL Server. Additionally, you will be required to port Java code samples and libraries to C#.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop ASP.NET Core MVC applications using .NET, C#, and Web APISupport legacy applications and perform application maintenanceCollaborate with teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectivesPort Java code samples and libraries to C#Validate test data and ensure accuracy in application testingProvide technical leadership and mentoring to team membersParticipate in the full development life cycle, from requirement gathering to deploymentWrite detailed technical design documents and system documentationConduct code reviews and follow coding standards and best practicesEnsure proper change management processes for production system fixes and enhancements
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
10 years of verifiable experience as a .NET Web Developer, developing ASP.NET Core MVC applications for at least 4 years10 years of verifiable experience developing with the C# language in ASP.NET2 years of experience with the Java language2 years of experience with Microsoft C# .NET Core or .NET 810 years of experience in SQL Server Database design, development, and optimization10 years of experience developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later5 years of experience creating design mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code5 years of experience with consuming RESTful APIs10 years of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)Strong understanding of N-tier environments and code repository strategies using Team Foundation Server (TFS)5 years of experience developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and making them accessible in MVC web applicationsDemonstrable understanding of secure coding practices for ASP.NET MVC applications2 years of experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) or implementing a testing strategy5 years of experience with Visual Studio, including 2 years with Visual Studio 20195 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
