Arrow Electronics is seeking a collaborative and engaged Warehouse Associate to join our Grapevine, TX Warehouse Logistics center. This role will focus on the functions of receiving, picking, storing, packing, cycle counts and shipping. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be required to excel in the areas of safety, quality, attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
What You'll Be Doing:
Support daily various distribution center functions including: receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shippingCross-train via multiple departments within the warehouse facilityTransport, store, and stage productEnsure quality and productivity goals are metPull, prep, and complete shipping orders via RF scanners, paperwork, and box packagingPerform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and provide accurate inventory countsAbility to verify data and inspect small part markingsReceive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a teamEnsure the warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and that all safety procedures are being followed at all timesInspect and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, floor lifts, joey and basic toolsReport any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to relevant channelsProvide dependable, shift-long coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates as efficiently as possible for the duration of the warehouse associate's shiftWhat You'll Need:
1-3 years of relevant work experiencePrevious warehouse experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to perform end-user computer functions (e.g., data input, interpret information and instructions from computer screens) on Warehouse computer systems (e.g., terminals, tablets and scanners)Must have strong attention to detailReading, writing, and understanding of English languageThis position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time. Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is requiredCollaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goalsMust be comfortable working under high productivity and quality standardsExemplify team collaborationMaintain a safe work environment by following established safety proceduresMaintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards within facility and daily workspaceMust be reliable and report consistently to scheduled shift, including overtime hoursWhat's In It For You:
