In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse through various functional duties which may include the shipping, receiving, and/or transferring of products to customers and other branches. You will be able to ensure our customers receive the correct products in the correct quantity at the correct time so they can keep members of our community comfortable in their homes and workplaces. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Load and unload merchandise using necessary machinery and toolsPull and prepare orders to be shipped or picked up by customerEnsure neat and orderly warehouse area, including loading docksComplete appropriate paperwork to track and ship merchandise per company procedure and/or vendor instructionComplete appropriate reports per management's requestPerform cycle count duties as well as annual inventoryCommunicate with warehouse management regarding inventory related issues including discrepancies, damage and non-stock inventoryAssist the inside sales representatives and/or drivers as neededMust be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance;Continuous walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, carryingQualifications
Educational Requirements and/or Experience Required
At least a high school diploma. No prior warehouse experience necessary, however at least 6 months of warehouse/construction experience is preferred. On the job training is available.
