Developer Platform .At the forefront of your responsibilities, you’ll grow, engage with, and empower a community of developers and creatives. Also, as an integral part of our developer platform product team, you will help to continually improve the end to end developer experience and decrease the time to build by crafting technical guides, content and sample code; as well as bringing feedback and the voice of our developers into our products.The stars of the show are the developers who integrate with our Express and Creative Cloud platform, who range in size and makeup, from startup to enterprise; you'll need to be comfortable communicating with partners from the full range of business contexts.You'll be joining a multi-functional and cross-regional team that drives the Adobe Express and Creative Cloud Developer Platform and ensures that third-party developers have positive experiences building on it. We do it all in service of delivering useful and delightful integrations to creative users around the world.What you’ll doBe proficient on the Adobe Express and Creative Cloud developer Platform offerings and capabilities.Continually engage with our developer community through our different channels, championing our products and our community itself.Contribute to our community strategy, identifying new outreach and engagement channels, and also communities to work with, in response to industry trends and the constantly evolving developer community landscape.Speak at events and meetups, both in person and virtual, with the aim of creating awareness and engagement with our offerings (some travel might be needed).Create engaging content, including technical talks, blog posts, demos, and videos, that educates developers and users on the capabilities of our platform.Serve as the voice of the developer, contributing to internal feedback loops with our product teams.Be responsive to community support metrics and help to continually optimize.Coordinate updates to technical resources for our developer platform updates and launches.Triage and track issues coming from various channels including forums, events, email, etc.What you’ll need to succeedStrategic mentality, able to zoom out and look at the bigger picture to make our platform and community efforts successful.Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences.An understanding of how to communicate with developers at companies that range in size from startup to enterprise.The commitment to truly understand the heart of a problem, instead of simply taking all questions at face value.Patience, compassion, and a sense of purpose. We care deeply about the success of developers who choose to partner with us, as well as the success of our mutual customers.Willingness to continually learn new Adobe products.Eagerness to continually learn new languages and development platforms.Experience & Qualifications5+ years development experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience speaking in public to technical audiences.Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and command line tools.Preferred: Experience interacting with engineering teams who use Trello, JIRA, and the like.Preferred: Experience with Adobe Express or one or more Creative Cloud products.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $121,800 -- $228,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
