We are looking for people to help us build the future.As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the 3-5 year strategic vision to create new personalized recommendation experiences at scale. You will build and execute a roadmap with industry leading solutions that enables Amazon's Recommenders to surprise and delight our customers. This is an opportunity to be part of a ‘greenfield’ effort and innovate in a space that is poised to grow exponentially over the next few years.Key job responsibilities
Define vision, develop roadmap and drive execution of new recommendation models and customer experiencesDevelop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and applicationManage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support loadWork closely with engineering, design, applied science, and program management in an agile environment to deliver products to customersDrive product roadmap creation including working with operations, executive team, and other team membersProactively identify and resolve strategic issues to help the team meet strategic, financial, and technical goalsInterface and partner with all levels of the Amazon businessesEstablish standards/best practices to raise the bar on product management across the organizationThis role requires an individual to have impeccable judgement, in differentiating between one way and two way doors. She/he should be adept at building consensus across a cross functional team and partnering effectively with other leaders in the design/development/roll-out of new products. The senior PMT will need to be flexible, adapting her/his approach to ensure schedules are reasonable and consistently delivered for our customers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degreeExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience managing technical products or online servicesExperience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
