Professional and technical work performing a variety of professional dental care and treatment activities to ensure appropriate dental health standards and practices are maintained for dental patients in city facilities. Work includes providing direct patient care through the clinical practice of dentistry and oversees the work of dental staff.Minimum Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry.Possession of a current license to practice dentistry in Louisiana. Dental License must be current with the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry.* Prior to appointment, the hiring agency is required to verify education and license claimed by the applicant to qualify for this classification. Domicile requirements are currently waived for the purpose of application.
