About The Role

Reboot seeks a Director of Strategic Partnerships to design, develop, and implement our major gift program. This will include raising funds for our new initiative Reboot Studios, a media financing and development subsidiary. The position reports to the CEO and provides support to the CEO, COO, and the Board of Directors in their major gift fundraising. This position will be entrepreneurial in nature with an opportunity to help grow the organization and expand their role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping grow major giving at Reboot by managing and cultivating relationships with existing major gift prospects, as well as identifying new prospects for six figure gifts and above. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will develop and manage a portfolio of key donors through a moves management process, leading them on a donor journey to maximize their lifetime value. An ability to empathize with donors and clearly communicate Reboot’s mission will be essential.

The Director of Strategic Partnerships can expect their work to include:

Create and lead the strategy for major donors and prospects; designing and directing all identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.Engage and support the CEO, COO and Board in execution of their major gift fundraising work.Actively manage a pool of 40+ donors with customized fundraising roadmaps.Cultivate and nurture relationships between Reboot’s donors and donor prospects, board members, and other key constituents.Develop and implement creative donor relations programs with customized cultivation and stewardship touchpoints that engage top donors and educate them on giving opportunities.Utilize data insights to expand the major donor portfolio through prospect research, introductions from current supporters, cultivation events, and other pipeline building strategies.Work with the CEO and COO to establish long-term goals and objectives for the major giving program.Leverage Salesforce to capiture visit reports and donor updates, reporting, and analysis.Contribute positively to organizational culture and reflect Reboot’s values.

About You

You need to have:

A track record of consistently raising six future gifts for charitable causesA minimum of 3-5 years of nonprofit development experience, with an emphasis on major gifts and individual solicitationA natural ability to build relationships and to communicate easily, respectfully, and sensitively with stakeholders of all backgroundsEnthusiasm to propose fresh ideas without prompting by leadership, openness to feedback on those ideas, and a persistence to bring those ideas to lifeA passion for doing transformative work with exceptional people while not taking yourself too seriously. A sense of humor.A “teamwork” mindset and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectivenessProfessional experience in the Jewish world is not a requirement, but a passion for Reboot's mission is required.A college degree is required.

About Compensation And Benefits

Competitive salary offered commensurate with experience. Additionally, comprehensive benefits package is offered that includes health insurance, matching 401(k), professional development allowance, and other benefits.
