About the role
We’re looking for a product designer to join us in our mission to bring joy back to software engineering as we build our full code-centric AI stack. This role will work across the product on software creation features like our in-editor chat, and data metrics surfaces. You’ll have ownership of various altitudes of design from strategy to UI details. This role will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the direction of how AI interfaces are defined. Work with the ML research team to improve discoverability and usability of Augment’s AI assistant features via chat in various editors and on the Web Work with engineers to develop ergonomic UX solutions for editor limitations Host a design workshop on ways to productize a particular AI technology Work with Developer Experience and Marketing teams to discover new user needs and product opportunities Contribute to and improve Augment’s design systems You will…
Drive the product design experience from idea to software—concept sketches, user flows, prototypes, all the way to shipping to customers Test and validate design ideas through building prototypes and concept testing with users Partner with product and engineering on requirements and sequencing on initiatives you lead Required skills and experience:
5+ years of relevant professional experience as a designer in SaaS and software authoring tools Ability to drive work forward and ship product experiences users love Experienced in systems thinking & design Ownership: You need to be comfortable with setting your own goals and balancing velocity and quality Collaboration: you’ll partner closely with team members across the org in research, product, engineering, and design Bonus Points:

The actual salary within the stated range will be based on a combination of factors such as an individual's skills, experience level, educational background, and other relevant job-related considerations. Pay Range
$180,000 - $200,000 USD Apply for this job
