We’re looking for highly personable, passionate, and innovative marketers to bring the true entrepreneurial spirit, growth mindset, and independent thinking to our team!What This Job is About:As the Director of Partnerships, Music, you will lead the development and management of artist partnerships, sponsorships, and VIP experiences. This role requires strategic collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders to execute artist-driven tours and events. You will ensure operational efficiency, manage logistics, and maintain key industry relationships while driving revenue through artist partnerships and sponsorship programs. Your expertise will also involve managing on-site event logistics in coordination with production teams to ensure the seamless delivery of live performances, events, and activations.Key Responsibilities:Develop impactful partnership strategies that align artists with brands and sponsors, ensuring long-term mutual benefit for all stakeholders.Collaborate with artists, managers, and brands to create VIP packages, sponsorship opportunities, and branded partnerships that enhance the live event experience.Oversee the successful execution of partnership strategies, aligning internal and external teams with a shared vision.Manage multiple concurrent relationships within the music industry, focusing on fostering valuable long-term partnerships.Collaborate with operations and production teams to assess the feasibility of early-stage opportunities, ensuring stock, gear, and timeline availability.Coordinate artist logistics for tours, award shows, festivals, and other live events, including booking travel, accommodations, and ground transportation for artists and their teams.Ensure the seamless execution of live events by working closely with production teams on-site, covering artist requirements such as VIP activations, meet-and-greets, and after-parties.Monitor tour marketing efforts, including promotional itineraries, outreach coordination for tour announcements, and collaboration with promoters and agents.Serve as the primary point of contact for artists, managers, sponsors, and brand partners, managing the flow of information and nurturing relationships.Maintain detailed knowledge of artists and their management teams, ensuring alignment with their goals and strategies.Build and maintain key industry relationships with promoters, venue managers, tour managers, talent buyers, and booking agents.Manage the budgeting, accounting, and payments for all promotional tours and artist activations, including vendor relations and invoice processing.Oversee the financial management of sponsorship deals, ensuring that all agreements are cost-effective and profitable.Create and monitor tour budgets, including reconciliation, and ensure funds are allocated efficiently.Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline of entertainment and tour projects, tracking prospects, leads, and sales opportunities.Provide reports and updates to the sales and management teams, including pipeline analysis and competitor research.Streamline sales processes to improve efficiency, collaborating with internal teams to enhance workflows.Manage contracts and agreements with clients, including securing necessary signatures, obtaining technical and billing information, and coordinating with internal departments.Ensure timely payments to vendors by tracking payment schedules and resolving any financial issues with the finance department.Research and analyze competitors’ pricing strategies, product offerings, and activities to stay ahead in the market.What You’re All About:Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent amount of work experience, in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.8+ years of experience in the music industry, particularly in partnerships, sponsorships, and client services.Proven track record of managing artist partnerships, sponsorships, and live event logistics.Strong project management skills, with a focus on budgeting, logistics, and financial reconciliation.Extensive knowledge of the music industry, with an established network of relationships across artists, management teams, promoters, venues, and sponsors.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly to various stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and other CRM tools.Ability to travel frequently, including weekends and nights, to manage live events and activations.Next Steps:To apply for this position please respond to this posting with your cover letter, resume, and salary requirements.
