IOC Company, LLC, a heavy civil contractor, has an immediate opening for a highly skilled and experienced Training Supervisor with knowledge of all matters concerning OJT (on-the-job-training) and employee compliance training and certifications. The Training supervisor provides hands-on support by creating, documenting and building a system of record relative to all OJT - training and certifications across Construction operations.
Key Job Responsibilities:Effectively sources technical information necessary for the development of the curriculums and the production of learning materials to ensure OJT certificationsDevelop materials, process and conducts comprehensive written and practical, hands on, assessment of training participants acknowledge and abilityDevelop, coordinate and present the curriculum to all new hires and follow up on adherence throughout the certification processEstablish development, documentation and cataloging of detailed and easily understood on the job descriptions and procedures in standardized format for dissemination to all operations jobsCreate job documentation at the job sites by shadowing people on targeted rolesBuild clear pathway development training for all key critical roles across IOC companiesHighly organized and detail oriented with strong follow up skills to manage large volumes of documentation with an ability to understand prioritiesCreate and maintain employee certifications records databaseFoster a culture of compliance by creating formal procedures and document control systemsResponsible for coordination of new employee orientation and onboardingPerforms other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, curriculum & instruction, human resources or administration, or related areaFive (5) years of experience in similar role including experience in document control process implementation and executionAn equivalent combination education and/or experience may be consideredBilingual in English/Spanish required. Able to communicate clearly orally and in writing, and exchange information accuratelyExperience speaking in a group setting to clearly communicate technical informationKnowledge of curriculum planning, testing and evaluationExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks and activitiesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and frequently use these software tools to produce highly effective visual aids for training purposesProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizationTeam PlayerA Doer who makes sure things happen
