Senior GIS Analyst
Halff Associates has an immediate opening for a Senior GIS Analyst. The desired candidate would enjoy working on a variety of types of projects with other industry professionals and be both team oriented and self-motivated. Responsibilities include leading the creation of geospatial data, static maps and web maps. This includes but is not limited to working with enterprise geodatabases, LiDAR and terrain datasets, ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Online. The desired candidate will show initiative to understand detailed project requirements and develop workflows to comply and review data and maps based on these requirements. The position also provides reporting deliverables and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will be able to interact with clients, stakeholder and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Computer Science, or other discipline related to GISMinimum of four years of experience with the Esri suite of GIS softwareDemonstrated experience with latest version of ESRI GIS software such as ArcMap 10.8 and ArcGIS Pro 2.9 or higherAbility to troubleshoot technical issues, and improve workflowsFamiliarity with water resources and/or public works-related applications of GISAbility to provide and review detailed work and provide quality assuranceTechnical communication skillsDesired Skills:
Understanding of database management best practicesInterest in staying current on uses and applications of geospatial technologyModel builder or python for workflow automation preferredCartography best practicesTechnical writing skillsQA/QC implementationStrong work ethicCompany Overview:
