The RoleAre you ready to be a part of a transformative journey from our legacy tech stack to cutting-edge Stack 2.0? We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive this migration and usher in a new era of geolocation services. You’ll be at the forefront, migrating our legacy geolocation services into a cutting-edge solution, allowing us to process millions of geolocation transactions in real-time for all gaming customers in North America. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating this transition to new technologies, boosting performance, and elevating compliance. Join us in this exciting endeavor!

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build multiple high-availability distributed services using Golang, aligning with modern best practices.

Develop clean, reusable, and well-tested geolocation web services and APIs.

Facilitate the migration of self-hosted databases to Amazon Web Service (AWS) for enhanced scalability and reliability.

Drive the shift from a monolithic architecture to microservices, enabling greater flexibility and scalability.

Establish team processes and tools to streamline the migration process.

Actively contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the migration project's efficiency and effectiveness.

Who You Are

Computer Science background with 5+ years experience in programming languages.

Strong experience with microservices architecture (Golang implementation).

Experience with large migration projects.

Understanding of data structures & algorithms.

Knowledge of cloud technologies, in particular Amazon Web Service (AWS).

Containerization experience (Docker, KVM, Kubernetes, etc).

Compensation and BenefitsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several Global markets. The salary for this position ranges from $156,000/year up to $214,500/year. Pay is based on several factors evaluated throughout the interview, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
