Docusign has recently consolidated our financial systems to the Oracle Cloud ERP, Procurement and Subscription Management suite of applications. We are in the process of scaling our finance applications further and rolling out ERP globally to support Docusign’s growth.As the Lead Applications Engineer you will be responsible for working jointly with the Business Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Applications, Program Management, Docusign Product, Data and Integration teams to provide technology solutions to scale the in Oracle Subscription Management, Quote to Cash systems and other finance processes and related systems.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Financial Systems, Enterprise Applications.Responsibilities

Function as a Senior Application Engineer and partner with the Quote to Cash team, Operations teams, offshore based development team, cross-functional business stakeholders, and our outsourced partners to design and deliver business and technology solutions that improve Docusign’s Quote to Cash process and Core Finance business processes.Lead the definition of systems strategy, evaluation of tools, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be process designs, preparing solution design, lead proof of concept (POCs).Prepare the system flow, functional design and technical design documentation, product demos, module configurations, development of reports and dashboards, assist with any data mapping, integration approach, error handling, defining test scenarios, troubleshooting of issues, and providing appropriate resolutions.Upgrade and modernize business systems to stay ahead of the latest product capabilities and industry trends.Partner with the Software vendor to ensure all bugs are resolved on a timely basis and the product can scale to support Docusign’s business processes and growth objectives.Design and develop custom extensions to meet gaps in Oracle functionality.Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support the business on UAT.Troubleshoot and resolve any defects to ensure the solution meets the intended business needs.Document processes and configurations.Analyze issues, perform root causes, design and develop permanent code fixes, configurations, or tuning.Learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends, and apply them to the platform, where feasible.Collaborate with other offshore Enterprise Applications team members to ensure timely delivery of cross-team initiatives.Manage the Jira backlog and ServiceNow tickets and track the progress.Highlight key issues, risks, and mitigation plans on a timely basis.What you bring

Basic

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field with relevant IT or Oracle ERP experience.12+ years of techno-functional experience in technical solution design, configurations, end-to-end implementation, and post-production support on Oracle ERP applications.5+ years of recent experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically in one or more of the following Oracle modules: Accounts Receivable, Oracle Subscription Management, Oracle Bill Management, Advanced Collections, and Fusion Tax.Experience in extending Fusion Cloud ERP using Visual Builder Cloud Service, OIC, SOAP or REST APIs, and other PaaS tools.Experience with Oracle Fusion customizations, managing Sandboxes, building or modifying pages, Infolets, BI Publisher, OTBI, Groovy, Java or Python scripting, ESS jobs, extensive Flex Fields creation, and other related technologies.Experience serving as a liaison between product managers, business transformation leaders, and IT to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.Experience working in an agile environment and using data to drive product decisions.Experience with Jira, Confluence and Project Management tools.Preferred

Thorough understanding of Oracle Cloud APIs and experience in developing prototypes using Postman, SOAPUI, or similar tools.Strong problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent team player who can work with virtual and global cross-functional teams.Excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.Good functional knowledge of data conversion, rapid implementation spreadsheets, File-Based Data Import, ADFDI, import management, migrations, inbound and outbound interfaces.Understanding and experience of Fusion Tax and third party tax application integration such as Avlara.Experience working with payment gateway for Credit Card and ACH integrations.Understanding or experience Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or other iPaaS technologies.Understanding of SOX, basic accounting, taxation and financial reporting.Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $151,800.00 - $245,150.00 base salary.Washington and New York: $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary.This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.Life at Docusign
