What You'll Do : As the Enterprise Data Governance Consultant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and proficiency of data stored throughout the enterprise. You will work closely with business and IT stewards to improve data accessibility, visibility, and quality across the enterprise. You will be accountable for leading efforts to maintain and enhance enterprise data through data quality improvement, privacy and security enhancement, and governance policies and procedure enablement. You may also participate in large complex projects or processes with limited oversight from management, so you must be self-driven and accountable. This is a new role to the company, so flexibility is key as you will have other duties as assigned.Responsibilities include:Develop and manage processes to improve enterprise data quality, security, privacy through the reporting of data asset health and quality metrics driving continuous improvement using guidelines, standards, and controls supporting data quality issue analysis, remediation and escalation.Lead and manage the creation of definitions, business rules, and processes like merging, matching, and hierarchies for enterprise business terms.Lead cross-functional governing bodies to support and enforce solid data governance policies to maintain integrity of data governance applications and solutions. Document and implement modifications to those applications and solutions and related training materials. Ensure all users are informed and effectively trained.
