Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a fully remote 1099 contract position serving students in California. This is an ideal opportunity for OTs looking to manage their own schedule while making a significant impact in the lives of students. As a 1099 contractor, youll have the freedom to operate independently while providing virtual services that meet the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for students with a range of developmental and physical challenges.Deliver remote occupational therapy services, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills to support student success in academic environments.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure therapy goals are integrated into the students' academic and functional objectives.Track student progress through data collection and modify treatment plans as necessary to promote positive outcomes.Maintain accurate documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with school district and state requirements.
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.2 years experience as Active California state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required (training can be provided).Ability to work independently with a reliable internet connection and necessary technology for remote therapy sessions.Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.Must carry general and professional liability insurance ($120 annually approximately)as part of the 1099 requirements.Work computer must pass tech screening.
