As a Senior Azure Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. You will leverage your expertise in Terraform to manage infrastructure as code and drive automation across our cloud environments. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business goals, optimize resource utilization, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design:

Develop and implement Azure cloud architecture solutions that meet the business requirements and support scalability, performance, and security objectives.

Terraform Management:

Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources. Ensure best practices in Terraform code quality, version control, and module usage.

Cloud Strategy:

Define and execute cloud strategies, including migration plans, cost optimization, and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with organizational goals.

Infrastructure Management:

Oversee the design, deployment, and management of Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases. Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring and management solutions.

Security and Compliance:

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and address potential issues. Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and performance efficiency.

Collaboration and Leadership:

Work closely with development teams, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and engineers.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, Terraform code, and deployment processes. Provide regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders.Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Proven expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code.

Technical Skills:

strong proficiency in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.

Deep knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.

Has worked on on-prem to Azure Migration projects.

Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.

Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Certifications:

Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and Terraform certifications are highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
