Remote Speech-Language Pathologist for School Districts in Michigan
Location:RemoteSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day (35 hours per week)Caseload:Primarily high school students (some middle school possible)Focus: Mild/Moderate and Speech-Only Students
Position Overview:We invite a qualified and dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become part of our team as an independent contractor. Your role will involve providing excellent speech and language therapy services to high school students, and possibly some middle school students, in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with mild/moderate speech and language needs.- Provide direct therapy sessions through virtual platforms, utilizing effective and engaging methods.- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and communicate outcomes.- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school district requirements and ASHA standards.
Qualifications:- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).- Experience working with high school and/or middle school students preferred.- Strong communication and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
