Primary Function:
Responsible for transporting, storing, and staging raw materials and supplies for production. These duties may be related to one or more product lines within the Fountain Inn facility. Proper usage of engineering and production systems/databases is critical to ensure accuracy. In addition to managing the movement of materials, the role may also require processing and testing of raw materials to predict product performance. Performs other duties as assigned. Primarily day shift but may require occasional support of other manufacturing shifts.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, transport, and store raw materials.Transport raw materials and supplies to and from production areas.Use scales to weigh raw materials.Use KAVX computer systems to:o Transact production lot movement.o Manage raw material inventory and status.o Input measurement data for product analysis.Use production equipment (dicer) to dice production blocks.Use analytical equipment to measure product dimensions.Perform other tasks as needed.SKILLS:
Ability to navigate complex IT programs, production systems such as SAP, and other manufacturing softwareMust be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all parts of the machine.Excellent computer skillsExcellent math skillsWilling and able to work with chemicalsWilling and able to lift 50 lbsAbility to learn new job functions as needed.Ability to follow instructions and lead area employees with little supervision.Ability to follow all safety and environmental standards for the department.Ability to stand for most of the shiftREQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational school diploma highly preferred.Previous experience as a manufacturing operator or material handler.
