Full-time direct employment with Vitaver Staffing ClientWork Setting:
hybrid. Travel: once a year to near shore office (Mexico or Costa Rica)
Required:•Project management experience (10+ years);•PMO or portfolio management (5+ years);•Experience managing cross-functional and global teams;•Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies;•Experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or the cruise industry is a big plus;•Undergraduate degree in Business or Project Management;•Formal project management certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Scrum Master.
Preferred:•Experience global teams and managing geographically dispersed teams of resources;•Experience with ITIL principles and strong understanding of IT operations;•Experience with Organizational Change Management related to technology projects;•Experience with the RFP process, vendor contracts, and vendor management;•Experience with financial planning and budgeting, including capital allocation requests (CARs) and project chargebacks;•Experience in managing a large portfolio of projects, including reviewing vendor statements of work (SOWs) for completeness and managing vendors during execution;•MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:•Manage PMO processes: Develop and maintain all PMO processes, including project lifecycle, audit processes, and resource management;•Oversee PMO personnel management, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring team members, and managing a high volume of contractors;•Coordinate portfolio management: Ensure portfolio data accuracy, maintain dashboards, and conduct portfolio meetings for GCS leaders and stakeholders;•Ensure project health and status reporting by maintaining audit processes and holding project managers accountable for completeness and timeliness of updates;•Provide financial management support: Participate in capital planning, assist with budgeting, and manage expense tracking;•Drive PMO transformation initiatives: Co-create and execute changes in PMO processes, operating models, and prioritization models for security and compliance projects globally;•Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of IT and security solutions across the organization
