Position Overview

Our client, a growing company in the

Los Angeles Metro Area , is seeking an

FP&A Consultant

to provide financial planning and analysis expertise. This role will involve collaborating closely with clients to deliver insights on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. The

FP&A Consultant

will be responsible for managing financial models, conducting variance analysis, and supporting decision-making. The candidate will work

on-site 3 days a week

and may need to travel to client sites based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions, including managing budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.Conduct variance analysis, highlighting key financial trends, risks, and opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with operational goals.Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership, supporting strategic business decisions.Assist in managing the capital allocation process, conducting ROI analysis for key investments.Prepare and present financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.Continuously improve FP&A processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Qualifications

Proven experience as an FP&A Consultant or senior financial analyst.Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.Strong experience providing strategic financial insights to support executive-level decision-making.Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.Compensation

Hourly rate ranging from $60 to $90 per hour, depending on experience.
