A Day in the LifeThe Sr. Digital Product Program Upstream Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and growth for our digital product offerings. The responsibilities start with uncovering key customer insights and needs for digital products, then working with our development teams to build and test concepts with customers, and then transition to developing claims and go-to-market strategies for our digital products that we intend to launch commercially. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, product management, and customer insights, ensuring that our marketing efforts align with business goals and customer needs.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for digital products, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.

Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences to help influence product development.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, design, and development teams to ensure alignment on product features, benefits, and customer feedback.

Customer Engagement: Develop customer personas and journey maps to enhance customer engagement and ensure a seamless experience throughout the product lifecycle.

Content Creation: Oversee the creation of marketing claims and value propositions to influence marketing campaign development and content creation with the downstream marketing team.

Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for digital products, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Nice to Have

Experience in digital marketing, digital product marketing, or digital program management, preferably within a medical device or digital product environment.

Strong understanding of digital products, solutions, tools, and best practices.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Familiarity with project management tools and marketing automation software.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $151,200.00 - $226,800.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
